Natural Pure Refined Yellow Beeswax Pellets
Specifications
Beeswax is a natural wax that is secreted by worker bees. New beeswax is light yellow in color, but over time it darkens to a golden yellow. Beeswax has been widely used in various fields such as:medicine, cosmetics, food and candles etc. We currently provide yellow and white beeswax both in slab and pellets form. Yellow Beeswax is filtered for purity while the natural color and aromas of honey are preserved. White Beeswax is filtered for purity and the color has been naturally removed preserving the aroma.
Light yellow to yellow colour of varying intensity with a fine-grain matt, non-crystalline fracture. Becomes soft and pliable when warmed by hand. Odour faint and characteristic of honey. Relative density is about 0.96. Practically insoluble in water, completely soluble in volatile and fixed oils.
Processing: Pure crude cappings beeswax is gently melted over clean un-treated bore water and is then allowed to settle. The molten beeswax is then micro filtered to remove all dross before being passed through a pelletising machine. The pellets which are formed, are cylindrical, 20 mm long and 7mm in diameter. The pellets drop directly from the pelletiser into plastic lined cartons. Batch size is approx 1200 kgs

Usages: It is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, fragrant candles, polish, waterproofing and to make foundation comb for beehives.
With its natural anti-bacterial properties, and high water-holding capacity, it is great for lotions, lip balms and skin care products that help retain natural skin moisture. You can also melt it down to make your own aromatic candles. Pellets make it easy to melt for whatever you need.
